Turgis is an independent, privately owned mining consultancy established in 1990. Turgis has acquired a proud reputation for being the consulting house of choice for a number of blue-chip mining houses throughout the world. That reputation was acquired through consistent on time and on budget delivery of the client’s needs.
We prefer to execute integrated projects where the broad experience of the engineers drives innovation and the achievement of fit for purpose optimised design. Many of our engineers are recognised as competent persons for the purposes of NI 43-101, SAMREC, JORC and the requirements of the LSE.
In 2008 the company was merged with the Dutch Infrastructure company - DHV Holding BV - and now forms an integral part of that company. Without removing any of its independence the acquisition allows Turgis access to over 5000 engineers worldwide.
Turgis is based in South Africa and the UK (www.turgisconsulting.co.uk) but active in most mining countries globally and covering the major mining commodities.
